The Iraq Museum in Bagdad has tvvo fragments of an alabastcr stela discovered in the Hai district of Southern Iraq about 1953. The fragments were published by F. Basmachi1 vvho identified the subjcct matter, shape and style of the stela as appropriatc to the Akkadian period, possibly to the rcign of Naramsin.
