Cilioretinal artery occlusion following scleral reinforcement surgery

A 12‐year‐old high myope girl presented with a cilioretinal artery occlusion in her left eye. Three years previously, she had undergone posterior scleral support surgery to prevent the progression of her myopia. The general medical workup of the patient did not reveal any causative factor for retinal artery occlusion.
