Paracentral acute middle maculopathy progressing to central retinal artery occlusion following coronavirus disease vaccination: a multimodal imaging report [PDF]
Background: Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines can cause adverse ocular effects, including vascular insults, acute macular neuroretinopathy, paracentral acute middle maculopathy (PAMM), ophthalmic vein thrombosis, Graves’ disease, arteritic anterior

Optos fundus photographs significant for gross choroidal ischemia Key Clinical Message Prompt diagnosis and treatment of GCA are crucial to preserve vision. Because of this, new‐onset ptosis or diplopia in elderly patients should warrant consideration of GCA, even in the absence of “classic” features, systemic symptoms or elevated inflammatory markers.

Acute central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) induces a time‐dependent increase in retinal thickness. By manually measuring the relative retinal thickness increase (RRTI) in comparison to the contralateral eye based on optical coherence tomography (OCT), ischemia onset within the past 4.5 hours could be determined with 100% sensitivity and 94.3 ...

Intraoperative Cycling Pressure Variation in the Treatment of Central Retinal Artery Occlusion
A 45‐year‐old male presented to the clinic of ophthalmology with central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO). There was no response to medical treatment, ocular massage, and anterior chamber paracentesis. CRAO was resolved by pars plana vitrectomy and intraoperative cycling pressure variation.
