Cineradiography

SPIE Proceedings, 1988
This paper describes a cineradiography system in use at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, as related to the advantages and disadvantages over conventional flash x-ray systems. Traditionally, x-ray imaging techniques in dynamic testing have relied on creating extremely short pulses of radiation to freeze the motion of the object, and then recording ...

Cineradiography of Calcified Valves

Radiology, 1958
The technic of cinerecording the fluoroscopic image and the electrocardiogram simultaneously has been described in a previous report (1). Briefly, this technic consists of recording in slowed motion on 35-mm. film the fluoroscopic image with an optically superimposed electrocardiogram.

Cineradiography of Esophageal Varices

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1964
Cineradiography of the esophagus and esophagoscopy were performed on 76 patients with clinically suspected esophageal varices. Varices were diagnosed cineradiographically in 67 patients. In comparing the radiological and endoscopic findings, there was an 85% agreement as to the presence or absence of varices.

Exposure Control in Cineradiography

Radiology, 1964
Just as phototiming enhances the usefulness of spot-filming by eliminating exposure error, some means of assuring proper film density is a prerequisite for the broader clinical application of cineradiography. In the past, manual control of milliamperage by a millivolt monitor of the image tube current (Philips Co.) and a pre-read microammeter measuring

Safe Exposures in Cineradiography

The British Journal of Radiology, 1956
Details are given of radiation dosage received during indirect cineradiographic examination without image intensification. The technique described allows films of satisfactory quality to be produced without danger of overdosage.

Rheumatoid Wrists: Cineradiography

Radiology, 1967
Although conventional roentgenograms of the wrist are helpful in diagnosing early rheumatoid arthritis (2), such studies do not necessarily correlate with symptomatology. It was felt that cineradiography might uncover varying dynamic alterations in patients with similar plain film changes yet differing clinical symptomatology.

Simultaneous Bi-plane Cineradiography

The British Journal of Radiology, 1963
In this country there has been the need for the development of a two-plane cineradiographic apparatus for routine clinical use (Abrams, 1961). This is a report upon the installation of such a unit which has been in routine operation in Dundee Royal Infirmary, Scotland. The apparatus consists of two intensification units arranged at right angles about a

Square-Frame Sixteen-Millimeter Cineradiography

Radiology, 1964
Cine cameras, both 16- and 35-mm. size, record their images in a rectangular frame, the height measuring the shortest diameter (Fig. 1, A). As cine-radiographic images are circular in shape, it is apparent that the maximum diameter which may be recorded is restricted to the height of the rectangular frame. In order to obtain a reasonable compromise, it

Cineradiography in Urinary Tuberculosis

The British Journal of Radiology, 1957
1. The advantages of cineradiography with image intensification in examination of the urinary tract are considered. 2. The stage of sanatorium and antibiotic treatment of tuberculous lesions at which these examinations are most useful is suggested. 3. The three sites where cineradiography is of most value in differentiating between normal contraction ...
