Factors Determining Film Exposure in Cineradiography

Radiology, 1962
In the practical application of cineradiography, the radiologist needs a reliable and speedy determination of proper film exposure. Failure to achieve this greatly hampers the full realization of the clinical potential of this method of studying dynamic motion and restricts the extension of its usefulness to other areas of diagnostic roentgenology.

Further Instrumental Developments in Cineradiography

The British Journal of Radiology, 1958
The use of image intensifying systems has led to a major reduction of dose to the patient in cineradiography. This technique can, therefore, be used in those cases where a study of rapidly moving physiological processes is essential, with less danger to the patients and their progeny than hitherto.

CINERADIOGRAPHY OF THE RETICULAR GROOVE MECHANISM‡

Australian Veterinary Journal, 1976
The use of cineradiographic studies in the interpretation of how sucked liquid passes to the abomasum in young sucking ruminants is described with special reference to experimental studies in lambs and calves. The work involved an examination of the movements of stainless steel wire or clips inserted via a gastrostomy into the mucosa of the caudal ...

Flash X-Ray Cineradiography

SPIE Proceedings, 1989
Flash x-ray radiography with single pulse has been developed about fourty years. It is widely used to study instantaneous phenomena. Comparatively speaking, the flash x-ray cineradiography is a kind of advanced techniques. Especially the flash x-ray cineradiography using a single flash x-ray tube and generator is now in the ascendant. In this articale,

Evaluation of Film Size in Cineradiography

Radiology, 1961
The advent of larger image-intensifying tubes with higher brightness gain has solved many of the problems of radiation dose and field size in cineradiography. Limited image detail remains as the most critical obstacle to be overcome if this method is to have a wider range of diagnostic usefulness.

Early cineradiography and cinefluorography

History of Photography, 1983
Abstract These verses were published in 18961, a year that can be considered to mark the genesis of both cinematography and the medical use of x-rays. Although progress to the production of moving pictures on a screen to an audience had been taking place by steps over a number of years, 1896 had seen the first public performances in many countries ...

The Value of Cineradiography in Medicine

The British Journal of Radiology, 1964
Forecasts as to the future clinical use of cineradiography can only be made after assessing the results of past and present work. Though cineradiography both direct and indirect was attempted almost immediately after the discovery of X rays it was not until the 1930's that the work of Janker, Russell Reynolds and Barclay began to yield some useful ...

CINERADIOGRAPHY IN NORMAL AND ABNORMAL WRISTS

American Journal of Roentgenology, 1966
Preliminary cineradiographic studies of normal and abnormal wrist conditions have been made. Subluxated naviculars, "clicking" wrists, and ununited navicular fractures have been studied. The dynamic alterations differ from patient to patient in conditions which seem similar on routine roentgenograms. The information gained from cine examinations should

Cineradiography of the Ureter

1981
Cineradiography, also called cinefluoroscopy or, simply, cine, is a valuable diagnostic instrument for the radiologist, physician, and surgeon [1,2,3]. Studies are obtained through use of an x-ray—activated fluorescent screen and image intensifier unit.
