Do Regional Price Levels Converge?: Paneleconometric Evidence Based on German Districts [PDF]

open access: yes
We investigate price index convergence on the base of regional data for 439 German districts. Prices refer to the overall consumer price index as well as to the index without housing prices.

Tuning Solvation Structures with KPF6 Additives for More Stable Lithium Metal Battery Cycling

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Introducing an optimal 0.1 m KPF6 additive into the conventional 1 m LiPF6‐EC/DEC electrolyte promoted small aggregate formation, enhanced Li+ transport, and facilitated a uniform SEI, thereby significantly improving the cycling stability of Li‖LiFePO4 cells. Uncontrolled dendrite growth and low Coulombic efficiency remain major challenges limiting the

Pretreat immunosuppressants in whole blood without vortexing and centrifugation

open access: yesAdvances in Sample Preparation
Background: Precise measurement of immunosuppressant levels in whole blood is critical for monitoring post-transplant patient outcomes. Conventional protein precipitation (PP) methods, which rely on vortex mixing and centrifugation, present substantial ...

Electrolyte Design Strategies for High‐Energy‐Density Li/Na/K‐Metal Batteries Toward Grid‐Scale Energy Storage: From Liquid to Solid

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This review summarizes key parameters including cathode loading and electrolyte consumption, clarifies the practical application scope of alkali metal batteries, and research progress on advanced electrolytes for grid‐scale energy storage systems. The growing demand for grid‐scale battery energy storage systems (BESSs) has prompted researchers to turn ...

Anion Concentration–Regulated Interface Stabilization Enabling High‐Performance Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A higher anion concentration promotes the formation of a LiF‐rich SEI on the Li surface, thereby stabilizing the interface and modifying Li deposition behavior and dendrite morphology, which ultimately determines the cycling performance of Li metal batteries.

A nonlinear panel unit root test under cross section dependence [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose a nonlinear heterogeneous panel unit root test for testing the null hypothesis of unit-roots processes against the alternative that allows a proportion of units to be generated by globally stationary ESTAR processes and a remaining non-zero ...

Interfacial Solvent Molecular Engineering via High‐Safety Dense Separators for High‐Rate Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The dense PPS‐separator prevents thermal runaway by allowing electron transfer through the steel needle during penetration, while the residual electrolyte enables brief ion migration and Joule heating, causing rapid electrolyte vaporization, collapse of the ion transport network, and a sharp drop in ionic conductivity.

Is There a Real Estate Bubble in the Czech Republic? [PDF]

open access: yes
Real estate prices more than doubled in many countries of Central and Eastern Europe from 2003 to 2008. In this paper, I provide one of the first assessments of whether housing prices in this region correspond to rents, i.e.

For the Few, Not the Many: Tracing the Residualist and Compensatory Nature of British Energy Support

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drawing on extensive documentary analysis, this article traces the evolution of British energy policy support since World War II. It analyses shifts in policy design through two interpretive lenses: eligibility (residualist vs. universalist) and function (compensatory vs. preventive).
