Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.

Cerebrotendinous Xanthomatosis: Novel EEG finding of Fixation-Off Sensitivity
Cerebrotendinous Xanthomatosis (CTX) is a rare autosomal recessive condition resulting in accumulation of cholesterol and cholestanol due to disrupted bile synthesis. Affected tissues include brain, tendons, skin, bone, lungs, and eyes.

Herbivores rescue diversity in warming tundra by modulating trait-dependent species losses and gains
Warming can reduce plant diversity but it is unclear which species will be lost or gained under interacting global changes. Kaarlejärvi et al. manipulate temperature, herbivory and nutrients in a tundra system and find that herbivory maintains diversity ...

Plasmonic Enhancement of Fluorescence and Protein Dynamics in Living Mammalian Cells
This study demonstrates plasmonic enhancement of the function of fluorescent voltage sensing proteins (genetically encoded voltage indicators, (GEVIs), QuasAr6) in live mammalian cells. Coupling to plasmonic nanoparticles does not just increase fluorescence, but influences the protein photocycle, creating a hybrid sensor with its response speed to ...

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

Therapeutic targeting of circ‐CUX1/EWSR1/MAZ axis inhibits glycolysis and neuroblastoma progression
Aerobic glycolysis is a hallmark of metabolic reprogramming in tumor progression. However, the mechanisms regulating glycolytic gene expression remain elusive in neuroblastoma (NB), the most common extracranial malignancy in childhood.
