Variable var compensator circuits
A family of two reactive-power compensator circuit is presented. A general model of some basic linear elements and switching function blocks is developed first. Then the two proposed compensator circuits are derived from the generalised model.

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

Centrifugal Inputs to the Main Olfactory Bulb Revealed Through Whole Brain Circuit-Mapping
Neuronal activity in sensory regions can be modulated by attention, behavioral state, motor output, learning, and memory. This is often done through direct feedback or centrifugal projections originating from higher processing areas. Though, functionally

All-Optical Logic Circuits Based on the Polarization Properties of Non-Degenerate Four-Wave Mixing [PDF]
This thesis investigates a new class of all-optical logic circuits that are based on the polarization properties of non-degenerate Four-Wave Mixing. Such circuits would be used in conjunction with a data modulation format where the information is coded ...

ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...
