Circulant Triangular Fuzzy Number Matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
141-154In this paper, we present some operations on circulant triangular fuzzy numbers matrices (TFNMs). The first row of the circulant matrices play important role in this study.

Joins of circulant matrices

open access: yes, 2022
We study the spectrum of the join of several circulant matrices. We apply our results to compute explicitly the spectrum of certain graphs obtained by joining several circulant graphs.Comment: To appear in Linear Algebra and Its ...

Efficient Likelihood and Machine‐Learning Models for Spatiotemporal Rainfall Estimation and Imputation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, Volume 45, Issue 13, 15 November 2025.
Ireland's rainfall monitoring network provides a large spatiotemporal climate dataset, with many stations reporting missing entries during the monitoring period (1981–2010). Filling these gaps is essential for producing climate reports; however, additional consideration is required during modeling to maintain computational feasibility.

The nonidealness index of circulant matrices

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2008
Abstract Ideal matrices are precisely those matrices M where the set covering polyhedron Q ∗ ( M ) equals the polyhedron Q ( M ) = { x : M x ≥ 1 , x ≥ 0 } . In a previous work (2006) we defined a nonidealness index equivalent to max { t : Q ( M ) ⊂ t Q ∗ ( M ) } .

Exploring a Circulating miRNA Signature for PMM2‐CDG: Initial Insights Toward Diagnosis, Stratification, and Monitoring

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 48, Issue 6, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Phosphomannomutase deficiency (PMM2‐CDG) is the most common congenital disorder of glycosylation, characterized by variable early‐onset neurological (hypotonia, cerebellar syndrome, developmental delay) and multi‐organ manifestations. Although several clinical trials are ongoing, current biomarkers lack prognostic or monitoring utility ...

Unit group of algebra of circulant matrices [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2013
Let Crn(Fp) denote the algebra of nXn circulant matrices over Fp, finite field of order p of prime characteristic p. The order of the unit groups U(Cr3(Fp)), U(Cr4(Fp)) and U(Cr5(Fp)) of algebras of circulant matrices over Fp are characterized.

Circulant matrices and mathematical juggling

open access: yesThe Art of Discrete and Applied Mathematics, 2018
Summary: Circulants form a well-studied and important class of matrices, and they arise in many algebraic and combinatorial contexts, in particular as multiplication tables of cyclic groups and as special classes of Latin squares. There is also a known connection between circulants and mathematical juggling.

Enumeration of E ( s 2 )‐Optimal and Minimax‐Optimal Supersaturated Designs With 12 Rows, 11 q Columns and s max = 4

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Designs, Volume 33, Issue 10, Page 379-387, October 2025.
ABSTRACT The E ( s 2 )‐optimal and minimax‐optimal supersaturated designs (SSDs) with 12 rows, 11 q columns, and s max = 4 are enumerated in a computer search: there are, respectively, 34, 146, 0, 3, and 1 such designs for q = 2 , 3 , 4 , 5, and 6. Cheng and Tang proved that for q > 6, there are no such SSDs.

Spatial circular matrices, with applications [PDF]

open access: yes
The cumulants of the quadratic forms associated to the so-called spatial design matrices are often needed for inference in the context of isotropic processes on uniform grids.
