On circulant weighing matrices [PDF]
A circulant weighing matrix \(W\) of order \(n\) with weight \(k\) is a square matrix of order \(n\) with elements from \(\{0,1,-1\}\) such that \(WW'= kI_n\) and in which each row (except the first row) is obtained by its preceding row by a right cyclic shift. Necessary conditions for the existence of such matrices are obtained and several of them are

Hadamard matrices constructed by circulant and negacyclic matrices [PDF]
The Hadamard matrices of order \(4n\) for all integers \(n> 0\) is an unsolved problem for over a century. In 1944 \textit{J. Williamson} [Duke Math. J. 11, 68--81 (1944; Zbl 0060.03202)] gave a method called the sum of four squares for constructing Hadamard matrices.
