Four-body co-circular central configurations [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinearity, 2012
We classify the set of central configurations lying on a common circle in the Newtonian four-body problem. Using mutual distances as coordinates, we show that the set of four-body co-circular central configurations with positive masses is a two-dimensional surface, a graph over two of the exterior side-lengths.

Circular Restricted n-Body Problem

open access: yesJournal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 2022
This paper introduces the Circular Restricted n-Body Problem (CRNBP), an extension of the bicircular restricted four-body problem (BCR4BP) designed to describe the dynamics of an n-body system. In the CRNBP, each massive body in the system is constrained to follow a Keplerian motion, similar to the BCR4BP's artificial constraint.

Quasi circular orbits around prolate bodies

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2021
ABSTRACT Recent observations of stellar occultations have revealed rings of particles around non-planetary bodies of the Solar system. These bodies are irregular and can be modelled by ellipsoids. In the context of numerical integrations for the study of studying the region close to these ellipsoidal bodies, it is known that the use of ...

The circular economy: Principles, strategies and goals

open access: yesEconomics and Sustainable Development, 2022
The circular economy is a major challenge for any national economy. It is a modern model of an economy that focuses on a new model of production and consumption that requires less use of limited resources, minimizing waste (products after their lifetime)

Periodic Solutions for Circular Restricted -Body Problems [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
For circular restricted -body problems, we study the motion of a sufficiently small mass point (called the zero mass point) in the plane of equal masses located at the vertices of a regular polygon. By using variational minimizing methods, for some , we prove the existence of the noncollision periodic solution for the zero mass point with some fixed ...

Orbits in the two-body problem in terms of symmetries [PDF]

open access: yesКомпьютерные исследования и моделирование, 2011
For the two-body problem computed 12-parameter group symmetry transformations which translate the obvious solution - uniform motion of bodies in circular orbits with a common fixed center - a motion with arbitrary initial data.

Slowly Vibrating Axially Symmetric Bodies-Transverse Flow

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2021
Stokes drag on axially symmetric bodies vibrating slowly along the axis of symmetry placed under a uniform transverse flow of the Newtonian fluid is calculated.

A hybrid piezoelectric–electromagnetic nonlinear vibration energy harvester excited by fluid flow

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mécanique, 2021
Energy harvesting mechanisms can be used to extract energy from ambient surroundings to power small electronic devices, which has a significant advantage in realizing self-sustaining wireless devices.

Non-geodesic circular motion of massive spinning test bodies around a Schwarzschild field in the Lagrangian theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
Recent interest on studying possible violations of the Equivalence Principle has led to the development of space satellite missions testing it for bodies moving on circular orbits around Earth.
