Analysis of Circular Robot Jumping by Body Deformation
Proceedings 2007 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2007As jumping is an effective method of moving over rough terrain, there is much interest in building robots that can jump, and deformation of a soft robot's body is an effective method to induce jumping. Our aim was to investigate the effect of the initial shape of deformation of a circular shell made of spring metal.

Scattering of SODAR Signal Through Rough Circular Bodies
2015Scattering of SODAR signal from a thin rough circular bodies is studied using an integral equation method. The relation between Incident and scattered fields governs by the transition matrix (T-matrix). T matrix has determined using an Integral representation of the Helmholtz equation.

Capture in the Circular and Elliptic Restricted Three-Body Problem
Celestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy, 2004Gravitational capture of small celestial bodies by major planets is an interesting phenomenon in planetary systems and it is often used as a model for investigating of motion of comets, asteroids and moons. As a matter of fact the restricted circular or elliptic three-body problem is the model for the gravitational capture, for example, asteroids near ...

Torque on a Rigid Body in Circular Orbit
American Journal of Physics, 1966The torque on a rigid body in circular orbit in a gravitational central field is derived, using the body-centered coordinate system aligned with the gravity gradient vector. Application of the general result to the special cases of pure pitch, roll, and yaw rotations is considered. From these cases, the orientations of stable equilibrium are deduced.

CALCULATION OF THE VOLUME OF A CIRCULAR BODY
Thus, you will find that the method of using calculus to find volumes is far superior and has many more applications than the traditional geometry methods. With this in mind, we should understand the nature of variables and equations in terms of a 3D area. At this point, the important question to ask is: What is the volume of a volume?Djumabayev, G'ulomjon +1 more

Supersonic flow past conical bodies with nearly circular cross-sections
18th Aerospace Sciences Meeting, 1980Abstract : Inviscid, supersonic conical flows past bodies whose cross-section deviates slightly from that of a right circular cone are studied by means of a perturbation technique. The effects of small angles of attack and yaw are included. Using the hypersonic small disturbances theory approximations, we have developed explicity results for the flow ...
