Circular SAR experiment for human body imaging
2007 1st Asian and Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar, 2007In this paper, the CSAR (circular synthetic aperture radar) technique is introduced firstly. The principle of CSAR 3D (three dimensional) imaging and the spatial wavenumber support are analyzed and the 3D resolution is discussed secondly. Secondly, Ku band fully-polarimetric CSAR human body imaging experiments are performed, and the experimental data ...

Libration Points in Schwarzschild’s Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem
Astrophysics and Space Science, 2006The restricted three-body problem in Schwarzschild’s gravitational field is analyzed. The existence of the equilibrium points in the orbital plane is discussed and the corresponding positions are established. There are three collinear libration points, and, if they exist, two triangular libration points (situated in the orbital plane of the primaries).

The Physics of Fluids
This study used the multi-relaxation time pseudopotential lattice Boltzmann method to examine the impact dynamics of droplets on circular bodies, focusing on the influence of the surface wettability, the viscosity of droplets by choosing three distinct ...

Circular Contact of Incompressible, Nonlinear-Elastic Bodies
ASME/STLE 2009 International Joint Tribology Conference, 2009Contact modeling of rubber bodies is based either on viscoelasticity, nonlinear elasticity or adhesion. This paper advances a simple approach to the analysis of the contacts involving incompressible, nonlinear elastic bodies and reports experimental results on rubber to justify this approach. A good agreement is found between theory and experiments.

Oscillators in the human body and circular-muscle gymnastics
Medical Hypotheses, 1993There is a growing body of literature about the role of oscillators in the living body, and about the interactions between different oscillators. Considering the importance of endogenous oscillators in regulating the body's functions, and the existence of 'dynamical diseases', diseases of control systems which involve oscillators in the body, a way to ...

The circular restricted four-body problem
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1981By generalizing the restricted three-body problem, we introduce the restricted four-body problem. We present a numerical study of this problem which includes a study of equilibrium points, regions of possible motion and periodic orbits. Our main motivation for introducing this problem is that it can be used as an intermediate step for a systematic ...

Circular relativistic motion of two identical bodies
Soviet Physics Journal, 1983The circular relativistic motion of two bodies is discussed as the solution of previously obtained equations with a deviating argument in which the deviation of the argument itself is an unknown function of the time. In the case of circular motion the deviation of the argument does not depend on the time and is a root of a transcendental equation ...

The Circularity of the Vertebrate Body
2014The general image of a mammal is that of an animal standing on its four legs having a narrow trunk connecting the head with the tail. The main body configuration conveys no sense of circularity.
