American Journal of Physics, 1963In this treatment of transverse electromagnetic waves circularly polarized waves of opposite senses are associated with a given positive frequency and the corresponding negative frequency. Linear polarization is thus obtained only as a superposition of circularly polarized waves.

Circular Polarization of Internal Bremsstrahlung
Physical Review, 1957A calculation is made of the circular polarization of the internal bramsstrahlung in allowed $\ensuremath{\beta}$-decay with the most general $\ensuremath{\beta}$-interaction. A wave polarization converter for circular polarization
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1963A linearly polarized wave may be converted to a circularly polarized wave by means of a panel which provides 90\deg difference in transmission phase between two crossed linear components. This phase difference is obtained over a wide frequency band by means of thin sheets containing both inductive and capacitive shunt susceptance.
