Successful management of critical neonatal Ebstein’s anomaly with circular shunt
Cardiology in the YoungAbstractThe prognosis of neonatal Ebstein’s anomaly requiring early surgery is poor, especially with a circular shunt. We report a critically ill case managed with emergency two-stage Starnes surgery immediately after birth. We hypothesised that the three components of the Starnes procedure, right ventricle exclusion, atrial septal defect creation, and

Cantilever and circular disc structure based capacitive shunt RF MEMS switches
2016 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT), 2016This paper mainly discuss the aspects in the design and simulation of rectangular cantilever and circular disk micro strip transmission line based capacitive RF MEMS switches. In both the designs the structure is placed on a silicon dioxide (SiO2) dielectric material with dielectric constant of 4.5 and the thickness of 1μm.

The shunt-driven circular loop antenna
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1971The distribution of current, admittance, and far field of a shunt-driven circular loop antenna are derived and related to those of an equivalent series-driven loop in parallel with a section of transmission line. The effective length of a shunt-loaded receiving antenna is obtained in terms of the corresponding quantity for the series-loaded loop.

ObjectivesTo evaluate risk for congenital heart disease (CHD) in recipient twins with circular shunt physiology (CSP).MethodsThis prospective study enrolled twin‐twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) cases from 2006 to 2015. Fetal echocardiography (FE) was performed before laser surgery when cardiac involvement was suspected. Diagnosis of recipient twin CSP

Circular saws are widespread tools for machining metal, wood or even ceramics. Due to the thin blade and excitation by the workpiece contact of the cutting edges, circular saws are prone to vibration and intense noise emission. Damping the blade will lower the hearing protection requirements of the users and possibly increase precision. Therefore a new
