Evolution of NWC Transmitter Wave Power Distribution From the Topside Ionosphere Into the Inner Magnetosphere

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract Ground‐based very low frequency transmitters emit signals that primarily propagate within the Earth–ionosphere waveguide, and some of their energy can propagate into the magnetosphere. Ionospheric observations from the DEMETER satellite reveal a distinct concentric rings pattern of the wave power distribution of the North West Cape transmitter

Excellent Microwave Absorption of Polyurethane Nanocomposites Engineered With Graphene Nanoplatelets and Magnetite

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 64, Issue 12, Page 2501-2517, 15 June 2026.
Reflection loss behavior and microwave absorption mechanism of graphene nanoplatelet and magnetite reinforced polyurethane nanocomposites, highlighting synergistic dielectric and magnetic losses. ABSTRACT The escalating growth in telecommunication technology has led to a surge in electromagnetic pollution due to the increase in electronic devices. This

Magnetically Decoupled Janus Bound States in the Continuum for Chirality–Topology Control

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 11, 13 June 2026.
This article demonstrates the Janus BICs, which are bi‐layer photonic crystal (PhCs) structures composed of C3v and magneto‐optical C6v symmetry slabs. It offers a unique platform for independent controlling chirality and topological charge, which successfully realizes the decoupling of topological charge and chirality.

Tunable Plasmon‐Enhanced Wide‐Angle Terahertz Perfect Absorption via Lorentz Media

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 11, 13 June 2026.
A planar graphene‐Lorentz‐DBR structure realizes wide‐angle terahertz perfect absorption through a composite phase‐amplitude matching mechanism. The Lorentz dielectric provides dispersive phase compensation and controlled loss, whereas graphene supports dissipative coupling, enabling high absorption up to 80° incidence and multichannel spectral ...
