An Implantable Phototriggered Prodrug Depot Patch Enables Actively Programmable Drug Release for Post‐Myocardial Infarction Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An implantable phototriggered prodrug depot patch (iPDP) is presented that enables actively programmable drug release post‐implantation. Covalently conjugated prodrug ensures minimal leakage; illumination parameters serve as a code to precisely control dose per release.

Flow measurement by means of wideband acoustic signals in single-mode waveguides [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sensors and Sensor Systems
A novel concept of an acoustic flowmeter, based on single-mode waveguides, is proposed, implemented, and analysed in this work. Instead of transmitting a pulse diagonally across the duct's cross-section, this device operates with two ducts that operate ...

AI‐Assisted Digital Single‐Molecule Activity Tracker for Decoupling Intrinsic Heterogeneity from Photo‐Oxidative Damage in High‐Photon‐Flux Enzymology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Employing a digital single‐molecule activity tracker (dSMAT), this research demonstrates that high‐photon‐flux irradiation drives progressive oxidative scarring in polymerases. Unlike simple thermal denaturation, real‐time kinetic tracking dynamically visualizes enzymes degrading into multiple impaired subpopulations.

Development of high power X-band semiconductor microwave switch for pulse compression systems of future linear colliders

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2002
We describe concepts for high power semiconductor rf switches, designed to handle signals at X-band with power level near 100 MW. We describe an abstract design methodology and derive a general scaling law for these switches. We also present a design and

Ultrastable Self‐Cross‐linkable Electro‐Optic Materials Based on a Bisanthracene Scaffold

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel bisanthracene‐based self‐cross‐linkable electro‐optic chromophore (TD2) is developed. TD2 exhibits a high r33 of 141 pm/V and a cross‐linked Tg up to 195 °C, retaining 99.75% of its initial EO response after 500 h at 85 °C, showing record‐high thermal stability for single‐molecule self‐cross‐linking EO materials.
