Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Conversion between dipoles with different spatial parities by circularly polarized light
We investigate the effect of a circularly polarized light on multipoles based on the Floquet formalism. We show that the irradiation of the circularly polarized light converts the spatial parity of dipoles at the microscopic level; the electric (magnetic

Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) in solution offers several advantages. However, it remains challenging for organic molecules to achieve circularly polarized luminescence with high dissymmetry factor (g lum) in solution. Herein, a general strategy

Phonon-driven spin-Floquet magneto-valleytronics in MoS2
In 2H semiconducting transition-metal dichalcogenides the valley-selective excitation has been achieved with circularly polarized photons. Here, the authors show that circularly polarized phonons produce a valley-dependent dynamic spin state as a result ...

The Circular Polarization Diversity Antennas Achieved by a Fractal Defected Ground Structure
This paper proposes the circularly polarized (CP) antennas with a restored radiation pattern for the polarization diversity applications. The proposed CP antennas have dual polarizations, the left-handed circularly polarized (LHCP) antenna is designed ...

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

A room‐temperature aerosol deposition process yields multiphase nano‐clustered dielectric capacitors containing discrete BaTiO3, PbZrO3, and PbTiO3 crystals. This architecture creates three‐dimensional heterointerfaces that induce interfacial charge trapping and effectively inhibit breakdown propagation.

Design of circularly polarized phosphorescence materials guided by transfer learning
It is highly desirable that artificial circularly polarized phosphorescent materials with high luminescence asymmetry factor (g lum), narrowband emission and tunable chiral phosphorescent performance can be constructed.
