Circularly polarized luminescence of syndiotactic polystyrene
Abstract Syndiotactic polystyrene (s-PS) films, when crystallized from the amorphous state by temporary sorption of non-racemic guest molecules (like carvone) not only exhibit unusually high optical activity, both in the UV–Visible and Infrared ranges, but also present circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with high dissymmetry ratios (g = ΔI/I ...

A single‐molecule cascade supramolecular system comprising L/D‐FPy, CB[8], and SC4AD serves as an efficient light‐harvesting platform. It facilitates cascade energy transfer and chiral transfer to acceptor dyes. Co‐assembly with a PVA matrix produces a multicolor solid film that exhibits enhanced luminescence dissymmetry factors (glum), enabling ...

Organic Free Radicals as Circularly Polarized Luminescence Emitters [PDF]
AbstractChiroptical properties of two chiral atropisomers of propeller‐like trityl‐based radical derivatives have been analyzed. A new absolute configuration (AC) assignment has been made, according to the combination of experimental and theoretical data.

Scale effect of circularly polarized luminescent signal of matter
ABSTRACT Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) is an important part in the research of modern luminescent materials and photoelectric devices. Usually, chiral molecules or chiral structures are the key factors to induce CPL spontaneous emission.

Atroposelective Construction of Axially Chiral Tetraarylethenes Via NHC‐Catalyzed Desymmetrization
We report the first NHC‐catalyzed atroposelective synthesis of axially chiral TAEs via oxidative desymmetrization of prochiral TAE dialdehydes. This catalytic strategy operates under mild conditions and accommodates a broad range of phenolic and nitrogen nucleophiles, delivering diverse axially chiral TAEs in good yields and up to 99% ee.
