MMP9High Neutrophils are Critical Mediators of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation and Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During a heart attack, neutrophils rapidly activate and differentiate into a specific subset characterized by high levels of MMP9, a tissue‐damaging enzyme, via the SPI1/CST7 pathway. These neutrophils form harmful net‐like structures (Neutrophil extracellular traps, NETs) that exacerbate heart injury.

A Methionine Allocation Nanoregulator for the Suppression of Cancer Stem Cells and Support to the Immune Cells by Epigenetic Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nanoregulator interfering with intratumoral methionine competition is designed to deliver oxaliplatin (IV) prodrugs and anti‐Lat4 small interfering RNA to tumor cells. This Pt (IV)‐crosslinked reduction‐sensitive nanoregulator progressively releases drugs within tumor cells and induces immunogenic cell death.

Rapid Blood Clot Removal via Remote Delamination and Magnetization of Clot Debris

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable colloidal microswarm is developed to quickly detach blood clots and enable rapid recanalization, with the detached debris functioning as a magnetic “debris‐robot” that can be efficiently propelled and retrieved via catheter suction, which could significantly save time compared to the critical “Golden 6 hours” window for ischemic stroke ...
