We present the first 3D radiation hydrodynamics simulations of partially stripped ( ${M}_{{\rm{core}}}\sim 10{M}_{\odot }$ , M _env ∼ 0.1–1 M _⊙ ) yellow supergiant ( L ∼ 10 ^5 L _⊙ , T _eff ≈ 5000–8000 K) envelopes, constructed with Athena++ .

We present spectra of a large sample of low-metallicity blue compact dwarf galaxies which exhibit broad components in their strong emission lines, mainly in Hbeta, [O III]4959, 5007 and Halpha.

Molecular Abundances in AGB Circumstellar Envelopes [PDF]
In this review the present status of molecules in circumstellar envelopes of AGB stars is presented. Emphasis is put on the determination of abundances, and estimates of their uncertainties, from an observational point of view. Despite an impressive number of circumstellar species detected, about 60, there remains much work before general conclusions ...

Hα Emission among Evolved FGKM Stars: A Compendium from the Literature
Emission in the wings of the H α line among late-type giant stars occurs as a consequence of conditions in their chromospheres. Data from the literature have been used to document the incidence of H α emission among Population I giant stars as a function

Maser Studies in Evolved Stars
High resolution maps of maser emission provide very detailed information on processes occurring in circumstellar envelopes of late-type stars.

Molecular outflows and 1000 AU structure of low mass YSO envelopes [PDF]
We present the results of an observational study into the molecular outflows and small scale ( ~ 1000 AU) envelope structure of a sample of nine low mass young stellar objects (YSOs) in Taurus.

The chemical composition of the circumstellar envelopes around yellow hypergiant stars
The yellow hypergiant stars (YHGs) are extremely luminous and massive objects whose general properties are poorly known. Only two of this kind of star show massive circumstellar envelopes, IRC+10420 and AFGL2343.

PAH formation in carbon-rich circumstellar envelopes [PDF]
While there is growing observational evidence that some fraction of interstellar carbon is in polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH's), the mechanisms by which these molecules might be formed have not been extensively studied. A detailed investigation of

The Circumstellar Envelope of pi Gru
CO(J = 2-1) and SiO(J = 5-4) emission has been observed from the molecular envelope around the nearby S star pi Gru. The CO line profile differs from the usual parabolic shape seen in uniformly expanding envelopes; it has a Voigt-like profile and two horns.
