Meso‐scale avoidance of wind turbines by four raptors at a Kenyan wind farm
Ecological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 7, Issue 3, July–September 2026.We fitted Augur Buzzards, African Hawk Eagles, Martial Eagle and Rüppell's Vultures with solar‐powered GPS trackers to study wind turbine avoidance. Meso‐avoidance was seen in all species. Augur Buzzard had the lowest rate at 48.9%, while African Hawk Eagle had the highest at 74.4% within rotor height.
