Feasibility of a silicone vascular phantom replicating real arterial contrast filling dynamics on cerebral angiography: An in-vitro pilot study.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2023
Some cerebral arterial silicone phantoms have been used in preclinical evaluations. However, typical silicone-based phantoms are limited in their capacity to reproduce real contrast filling dynamics of the human cerebral artery.

Milk production and anatomical udder capacity changes of udder halves subjected to increased milking frequency at two stages of lactation

open access: yesJournal of Dairy Science, 2023
: This study aimed to characterize the effects of increased milking frequency (IMF) at early and mid-lactation on milk yield and its association with changes in cistern and alveolar capacity. Fourteen multiparous Holstein cows were subjected to IMF using

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
