Enhanced Thermodynamic Stability of UO22+ Complex Through Structure Preorganization of N3O2‐Pentadentate Planar Ligand for Uranium Harvesting from Seawater

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Thanks to the appropriate structure preorganization of an N3O2‐pentadentate planar ligand, 2,6‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenylmethylaminomethyl)pyridine (H2saldamp) exhibits the strongest coordination affinity to UO22+ (log βU = 33.60) compared to ligands developed for uranium harvesting from seawater to date, as well as good separability of UO22+ from other metal

Optimal Grazing Exclusion Duration to Enhance Soil Carbon Sequestration in Degraded Grasslands

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Across China, grazing exclusion reaches the national mean soil organic carbon recovery benchmark sooner in high‐MAP regions (> 500 mm), but recovery is much slower where MAP < 300 mm. Scaling this strategy to 70% of China's degraded grasslands would sequester about 1.52 Pg of soil carbon over 10 years—roughly 17% of annual global fossil‐fuel emissions.

Patent Citations Analysis

2021
The use of patent citations as indicators of innovation has increased dramatically in the last decade. As patents constitute intellectual and economic value, patent citation analysis makes it possible to reveal the hidden innovation activities and knowledge flows between technologies, individuals, firms, industries, or countries. This chapter describes

Online citation analysis

Scientometrics, 1996
The paper investigates the online citation analysis possibilities and limitations. The following online processing tools: RANK, MAP, and TARGET, provided by Dialog, are incorporated in order to perform analyses of citations to and from isolated sets of documents as well as to carry out diachrone journal analyses.

Citation Analysis in Bariatric Surgery

Obesity Surgery, 2015
There have been many publications listing classic or top citations in various medical and surgical fields. Citation analysis can reflect major advances in the history of a specific field. It also serves to identify key authors, centers, countries, and journals that have played an integral role in the development of a given field or specialty ...

Citation analysis of otorhinolaryngology journals

The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 2002
Bibliometric analysis is used to assess the ‘impact’ of scientific journals. The commonest method of evaluation is impact factor. The aim of this study was to analyse the citation data for otorhinolaryngology journals of the years 1994 to 1998. Data on the total number of citations and impact factor of journals was obtained from the CD-ROM editions ...

Content‐based citation analysis: The next generation of citation analysis

Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, 2014
Traditional citation analysis has been widely applied to detect patterns of scientific collaboration, map the landscapes of scholarly disciplines, assess the impact of research outputs, and observe knowledge transfer across domains. It is, however, limited, as it assumes all citations are of similar value and weights each equally.
