Scalable Graph Convolutional Networks With Fast Localized Spectral Filter for Directed Graphs
Graph convolutional neural netwoks (GCNNs) have been emerged to handle graph-structured data in recent years. Most existing GCNNs are either spatial approaches working on neighborhood of each node, or spectral approaches based on graph Laplacian ...

Hypergraph clustering by iteratively reweighted modularity maximization
Learning on graphs is a subject of great interest due to the abundance of relational data from real-world systems. Many of these systems involve higher-order interactions (super-dyadic) rather than mere pairwise (dyadic) relationships; examples of these ...

Surrogate explanations for role discovery on graphs
Role discovery is the task of dividing the set of nodes on a graph into classes of structurally similar roles. Modern strategies for role discovery typically rely on graph embedding techniques, which are capable of recognising complex graph structures ...

Observations on the Intertextuality of Selected Abhidharma Texts Preserved in Chinese Translation
Textual reuse is a fundamental characteristic of traditional Buddhist literature preserved in various languages. Given the sheer volume of preserved Buddhist literature and the often-unmarked instances of textual reuse, the thorough analysis and ...

Biophysical approaches for studying viral entry
Viruses infect all living organisms and have been responsible for major epidemics and pandemics. Their ongoing evolutionary battle with host defenses creates a constant need for improved tools to study viral behavior. Advancing methods to probe viral attachment, fusion, and genome release deepen our understanding of how infections begin and support the

Forecasting high-impact research topics via machine learning on evolving knowledge graphs [PDF]
The exponential growth in scientific publications poses a severe challenge for human researchers. It forces attention to more narrow sub-fields, which makes it challenging to discover new impactful research ideas and collaborations outside one’s own ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
