Vacuum‐Induced Surface Reconstruction of Mn–Ce Oxides for Low‐Temperature Coupled Redox Catalysis
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.Near‐surface reconstruction enhances low‐temperature redox catalysis in Mn–Ce mixed oxides. Sequential vacuum annealing and reduced‐pressure O2 treatment enrich Mn near the surface while preserving the CeO2 fluorite framework, promoting interfacial electron redistribution, oxygen activation, and redox cycling.

Calcium triggers cysteine‐switch activation and hierarchical assembly into pentamers, bipentamers, tripentamers, and a ≈5.6‐MDa, ≈355‐Å dodecahedron. Advanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.Organic permeable base transistors are shown to benefit from balanced control of the semiconductor layers above and below the permeable base. Simulations and experiments indicate that the top semiconductor layer affects charge injection and lateral transfer length, while the bottom layer modulates the collector‐induced short‐channel effects.

Advanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.A closed‐loop direct recycling route for Prussian White sodium‐ion battery cathodes is demonstrated. Ice‐stripped scrap and end‐of‐life electrodes are regenerated via low‐temperature aqueous resodiation (80°C), restoring sodium content, Fe2+ redox chemistry, and structural integrity.
