‘Swingle’ citrumelo propagation by cuttings for citrus nursery tree production or inarching
Abstract ‘Swingle’ citrumelo [Citrus paradisi MacFaden × Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf.] has been extensively used as a rootstock in several citrus growing regions of the World, including Southern Brazil where ‘Rangpur’ lime (Citrus limonia Osbeck) is still the predominant variety despite being affected by several important pathogens.

CITRUS NURSERY PRODUCTION IN SOILLESS CULTURE
Acta Horticulturae, 2009The Brazilian citrus industry represents an important economical activity in the country. It engages the work of several business components within the farm and along the internal and export markets. The increase and mostly the maintenance of citrus groves in the field require the production of a large number of nursery plants.

Macrophyte (Lemna minor) and microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris and Scenesdesmus quadricauda) were used for treating artificial wastewater mimicking recirculating soilless citrus nursery system discharge in the laboratory environment. L. minor gave a better dry biomass yield (0.059 ± 0.003 g/L/day) than C.

Regulated deficit irrigation benefits the production of container-grown citrus nursery trees
Trees, 2018Withholding irrigation at − 15 to − 25 kPa water potential significantly saved water with minimal changes in plant growth, water relations, and percentage of shippable citrus trees on drought-tolerant and -sensitive rootstocks. We evaluated the impacts of regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) on plant growth, water relations, and biochemical variables of ...
