Bayesian Inference for Joint Estimation Models Using Copulas to Handle Endogenous Regressors
ABSTRACT This study proposes a Bayesian approach for finite‐sample inference of the Gaussian copula endogeneity correction. Extant studies use frequentist inference, build on a priori computed estimates of marginal distributions of explanatory variables, and use bootstrapping to obtain standard errors. The proposed Bayesian approach facilitates precise

Behavior of diploid and tetraploid genotypes of 'Carrizo' citrange under abiotic stresses [PDF]
Tetraploidy is a spontaneous phenomenon in citrus and some anatomical differences have been described between tetraploid (4x) citrus plants and their corresponding diploids (2x).

Structure of the cultivated citrus super‐pangenome. ABSTRACT The main genetic diversity observed in cultivated citrus results from a reticulate evolution involving four ancestral taxa whose radiation occurred in allopatry. In such context, GWAS analysis, genome diversity and transcriptomic studies will be significantly enhanced through pangenome ...

Nitrate Distribution in Mature Citrus Trees
Abstract NO3-N concentrations in 35-year-old ‘Hamlin’ orange (Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck) and ‘Marsh’ grapefruit (C. paradisi Macf.) trees on rough lemon (C. limon Burm. f.) rootstock were highest in the feeder roots (212-962 ppm), followed by the leaves (160-300 ppm) and trunk wood (0-304 ppm).

ABSTRACT Ethylene plays a crucial role in fruit ripening and is perceived by specialised receptor proteins embedded in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane. As an ethylene antagonist, 1‐methylcyclopropene (1‐MCP) binds to these receptors and delays papaya ripening, but improper use can cause ripening disorders.

Invasive Diseases and Fruit Tree Production: Economic Tradeoffs of Citrus Greening Control on Florida's Citrus Industry [PDF]
An investment model of Florida oranges was used to evaluate various management strategies for controlling Huanglongbing, or citrus greening, a highly destructive disease.

ABSTRACT Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas), the causative agent of citrus Huanglongbing (HLB), is transmitted by Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri; however, the role of the insect's immune effectors in defending against CLas remains poorly understood. This study reveals that D.
