Topological Spin‐Texture Transitions in van der Waals Magnets Revealed by X‐Ray Fourier Transform Holography

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Applied here for the first time to a 2D material, high‐resolution synchrotron x‐ray Fourier transform holography directly images topological spin textures in Fe3GeTe2. Combined with atomistic tight‐binding simulations including itinerant electrons and Rashba spin‐orbit coupling, the approach reveals labyrinth, skyrmion, and mixed phases, and uncovers ...

Spectrally Coordinated Plasmonic–Photothermal Photocatalysts for Mineralization of Mixed Indoor VOCs Under White LED Illumination

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A plasmonic–photothermal–photocatalytic hybrid comprising Cu(II)‐grafted TiO2, yolk–shell Au@SiO2, and reduced graphene oxide sheets (CuT/AuSi‐GS) harvests full‐spectrum white light‐emitting diode (LED) light via complementary photocatalytic oxidation, localized surface‐plasmon‐resonance‐induced electric‐field enhancement, and photothermal acceleration.

Fabrication of Aligned Polycaprolactone Nanofibrillar Bundles to Control Cell‐Mediated Collagen Deposition in Engineered Cartilage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Melt electrofibrillation (MEF) enables the fabrication of nanofibrillar PCL scaffolds with defined architectures that guide cellular alignment and retention during cartilage tissue engineering. Unlike conventional melt electrowriting, MEF consistently directs collagen type II‐rich extracellular matrix organization, providing a tunable platform to ...

Ferrocene‐Based Self‐Assembled Monolayers Enable Ultra‐High Specific Detectivity in Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report perovskite photodetectors with record specific detectivities exceeding 1013 Jones with a novel molecular design strategy to functionalize self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) with ferrocene (Fc) derivatives. Fc‐SAM‐based devices also exhibit strong operational stability and enable data transmission rates exceeding 1 Mbps in a LiFi system ...

The Effect of Patronage Politics on City Government in American Cities, 1900-1910 [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper I explore the effect of patronage or machine' politics on government performance in American cities during the Progressive era. I use game theoretic models and an empirical analysis of spending and public goods provision during the first ...

Reactivity‐Guided Janus Graphene With Asymmetric Interfacial Electrostatics for Tunable Charge Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Stepwise dual‐side functionalization creates covalent Janus graphene with chemically and electrostatically asymmetric interfaces. The resulting nonadditive surface‐potential response and pronounced charge‐transport modulation demonstrate a versatile route for tailoring the electronic properties of graphene.

City municipalities in the Republic of Serbia [PDF]

open access: yesPravni Zapisi, 2019
The subject of this paper is city municipalities, one of the forms of local government at the lowest level in cities. The process of urbanization, the expansion of cities and the emergence of new ones, creates the need for internal decentralization ...
