Ecofriendly Sunlight‐Mediated Nontoxic Bimetallic Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Reusable Catalytic Membrane, and Biosensor Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel sunlight‐driven synthesis produces Ag–Cu bimetallic nanoparticles (NPs) in just 10 min using nontoxic surfactants. These high‐quality NPs show excellent catalytic activity, functioning as reusable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and activated carbon fiber (ACF) supported catalysts for efficient conversion of p‐nitrophenol to p‐aminophenol, and ...

An Enhanced “Trapping−Conversion” Function Enables Ultrastable Potassium Ion Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An enhanced “trapping−conversion” function is proposed to improve redox kinetics and suppress shuttle effect of polytellurides for KIBs anode. Due to low energy gaps between the d‐band center and the p‐band center of P‐MXene, the engineered P‐PbTe/MXene anode demonstrates high reversible capacity, excellent rate capability, and superb cyclability, as ...

Copper‐Based Nanotubes That Enhance Starvation Therapy Through Cuproptosis for Synergistic Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We designed a copper‐based nanotube (NT) with copper ionophores to induce enhanced cuproptosis. In combination with starvation therapy, the NT significantly inhibited energy metabolism in HCC cells. Our results show that the depletion of GSH by Cu2+ intensified oxidative stress and cuproptosis, resulting in ROS generation and DLAT aggregation ...

Macroscopic Structural Transition of Nickel Dithiolate Capsule with Uniaxial Magnetic Anisotropy in Water

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An amphiphilic open‐shell d/π‐conjugated nickel dithiolate salt forms a bilayer capsule exhibiting uniaxial magnetic anisotropy, driven by spin–spin interactions. The capsule, exceptionally stable in aqueous environments, undergoes temperature‐dependent structural transitions representing, to the knowledge, the first observation of such behavior for ...
