Advanced Emissivity Tuning Via Femtosecond Laser Surface Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Femtosecond laser surface processing (FLSP) is employed to fabricate titanium‐based metamaterials with engineered micro/nano‐scale features that exhibit spectrally selective and omnidirectional thermal emissivity. By integrating advanced ellipsometry, electromagnetic modeling, and compositional analysis, the work reveals resonance‐driven emissivity ...

Coupling of Engineered High Entropy Alloys with Semiconducting TiO2 Nanofilms for Scalable and Ultrafast Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A facile and scalable strategy is presented to fabricate high‐performance hybrid photoelectrocatalysts combining PtFeCoNiCu HEA and TiO2–NFs via sequential anodization and electrodeposition, achieving an ultralow overpotential of –11 mV at η10 and excellent thermal stability. Abstract High entropy alloys (HEAs) are a promising class of electrocatalysts

Ultrasensitive Diamond Cantilever‐Based Optical Microphone

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The first demonstration that high quality diamond cantilevers function as high‐sensitivity acoustic transducers is reported, combining CVD diamond cantilevers and an extrinsic Fabry‐Perot optical configuration. High transduction efficiency yields record sensitivity (51.5 VPa−1) and MDP (0.018 µPa/Hz$\rm {\sqrt {Hz}}$), enabling durable, low‐noise ...

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...
