Business Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationship between board gender diversity and environmental credit risk in the global banking sector. Using a panel dataset of 345 publicly listed banks from 75 countries over the period 2018–2022, we find that greater female representation on bank boards is significantly associated with lower environmental credit

Does Climate Risk Affect Employment Decisions? International Evidence
Business Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of climate risk on corporate employment decisions. Using a large sample from 41 countries, we find a positive association between climate risk and underinvestment in labor, notably manifesting as excessive employee layoffs.
