We use vector meson dominance to calculate non-perturbative contributions to the branching ratio of the rare decay K ± → π ± ν ν ¯ $$ {K}^{\pm}\to {\pi}^{\pm}\nu \overline{\nu} $$ stemming from matrix elements involving up-quark loops.

Recent results from the NA48 experiment at CERN: CP violation and CKM parameter |Vus|
Several recent results from the NA48 experiment are presented: a measurement $| _{+-}|$, search for CP violating phenomena in $K^\pm\to3 $ decays, and a measurement of $|V_{us}|$.

Unitarity triangle angles explained: a predictive new quark mass matrix texture
We propose a novel quark mass matrix texture-pair with five free parameters, which fits the four quark mass ratios m s /m b , m d /m b , m c /m t , m u /m t , and the four CKM quark mixing observables.

Precision measurement of the CKM parameter sin(𝟮𝝱) with the LHCb experiment

We compute O α 2 Z $$ \mathcal{O}\left({\alpha}^2Z\right) $$ radiative corrections to superallowed β decays with a heavy-particle effective field theory that systematically describes the interactions of low-energy ultrasoft photons with nuclei.

Global analysis of charm mixing parameters and determination of the CKM angle gamma
We present an updated global analysis of beauty decays sensitive to the angle γ of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix and of D-meson mixing data in the framework of approximate universality, in which CP violation in D−D¯ mixing is described in terms of two universal weak phases corresponding to dispersive and absorptive contributions.

We study an approach to construct Siegel modular forms from Sp(6, Z). Zero-mode wave functions on T 6 with magnetic flux background behave Siegel modular forms at the origin.
