Comparative studies on metal biosorption by two strains of Cladosporium cladosporioides

Bioresource Technology, 2001
Two strains of a fungus, Cladosporium cladosporioides 1 and C. cladosporioides 2 showed different metal biosorption properties. Strain 1 showed preferential sorption of gold and silver, while strain 2 could bind metals such as copper and cadmium in addition to gold and silver. Strain 1 had a cell-wall hexosamine content of 0.1%.

Isocladosporin, a Biologically Active Isomer of Cladosporin from Cladosporium cladosporioides

Journal of Natural Products, 1993
Extraction of the fungus Cladosporium cladosporioides yielded the known isocoumarin, cladosporin [1], and a new compound. This metabolite, which inhibited the growth of etiolated wheat coleoptiles slightly more than did cladosporin, was characterized as a diastereoisomer of cladosporin at C-14 and was named isocladosporin [2].

Case report. Isolation of Cladosporium cladosporioides from cerebrospinal fluid

Mycoses, 2002
Summary.  Cladosporium cladosporioides was isolated from three subsequent cerebrospinal fluid specimens and from a brain biopsy specimen of a human patient. Susceptibility testing of the isolate was performed against seven antifungal agents.

?????????????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????????????????? Cladosporium cladosporioides (Fresen) de Vries

2019
The effect of light and VV-irradiation on the melanin production of Cladosporium cladosporioides was studied. It was shown that these factors don't have considerable influence on the processes of melanin synthesis. The supposition of constitutive nature of pigment synthesis of such representative of fungal "black race" as C. cladosporioides is advanced.

Cutaneous phaeohyphomycosis due to Cladosporium cladosporioides

Mycoses, 1992
Summary. A 54‐year‐old man, affected by pemphigus vulgaris and severe steroid‐induced diabetes, developed seven red‐brown, firm, slightly raised 0.1‐1 cm papular lesions on the anterior aspect of both knees and thighs. A cutaneous biopsy showed a granulomatous infiltrate with numerous fungal elements scattered in the dermis and also within giant cells.

Vacuolar serine protease is a major allergen of Cladosporium cladosporioides.

International archives of allergy and immunology, 2008
Cladosporium is an important allergenic fungus worldwide. We report here a major allergen of C. cladosporioides.Major C. cladosporioides allergens were characterized by immunoblotting, N-terminal amino acid sequencing, protein purification and cDNA cloning.Seventy-four sera (38%) from 197 bronchial asthmatic patients demonstrated IgE binding against C.
