Light Activated Induction of Cuproptosis in Resistant Cancer Cells Using Polymeric BODIPY Nanoparticles for Photoactivated Chemotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a photo‐responsive nanoparticle platform that precisely triggers copper‐dependent cuproptotic cell death in (drug‐resistant) cancer cells. The system remains stable and inactive in the dark but releases cytotoxic species upon red‐light irradiation, achieving potent activity in drug‐resistant breast cancer cells.

The Impact of the Covariance Matrix Sampling on the Angle of Arrival Estimation Accuracy

open access: yesInventions, 2019
Several works show that the linear Angle of Arrival (AoA) methods such as Projection Matrix (PM) have low computational complexity compared to the subspace methods. Although the PM method is classified as a subspace method, it does not need decomposition

Redefining Therapies for Drug‐Resistant Tuberculosis: Synergistic Effects of Antimicrobial Peptides, Nanotechnology, and Computational Design

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Antimicrobial peptide (AMP)‐loaded nanocarriers provide a multifunctional strategy to combat drug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. By enhancing intracellular delivery, bypassing efflux pumps, and disrupting bacterial membranes, this platform restores phagolysosome fusion and macrophage function.

Human Brain Vasculature‐on‐a‐Chip Model Constructed With Microvessels Isolated From Cryopreserved Postmortem Human Brain Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This manuscript describes the cultivation of viable microvessels from cryopreserved human brain tissue. When embedded in hydrogels and cultured in microfluidic devices, these microvessels exhibit complex architectures reminiscent of arterioles and capillaries, can be perfused, and display intact barrier function. Collectively, these results demonstrate

Convergence under Replication of Rules to Adjudicate Conflicting Claims [PDF]

open access: yes
We study the behavior of rules for the adjudication of con°icting claims when there are a large number of claimants with small claims. We model such situations by replicating some basic problem.

Cluster Analysis of Extremely High Energy Cosmic Rays in the Northern Sky

open access: yes, 1999
The arrival directions of extremely high energy cosmic rays (EHECR) above $4\times10^{19}$ eV, observed by four surface array experiments in the northern hemisphere, are examined for coincidences from similar directions in the sky.
