Spectral solution for a delay system with hyper-Erlang distributions

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2022
The article is devoted to the construction of a mathematical model for delaying claims in a queue in the form of a queuing system described by two flows with the laws of distribution of time intervals shifted to the right by hyper-Erlang distributions of

Interaction between Molten Al‐Killed Mn–B Steel and Carbon‐Bonded MgO Refractories Based on Recyclates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

A State-Dependent Dual Risk Model

open access: yes, 2015
In a dual risk model, the premiums are considered as the costs and the claims are regarded as the profits. The surplus can be interpreted as the wealth of a venture capital, whose profits depend on research and development.

Uniform Asymptotics for a Delay‐Claims Risk Model with Constant Force of Interest and By‐Claims Arriving according to a Counting Process

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2019
The insurance risk model involving main claims and by‐claims has been traditionally studied under the assumption that every main claim may be accompanied with a by‐claim occurring after a period of delay, but in reality each main claim can cause many by‐claims arriving according to a counting process.
