Personality may modulate learning and memory differences in two taxa of the African striped mouse genus Rhabdomys

Arid (R. pumilio) and mesic (R. d. chakae) striped mice learned to associate a scent with a reward. R. pumilio approached the incentivized scent faster than R. d. chakae but both approached a scent associated with a greater incentive faster than a lesser incentive.

A legal cure for news choice overload: Regulating algorithms and AI with ‘light patterns’ to foster autonomy and democracy

Abstract Despite an unprecedented abundance of news content, both news avoidance and dissatisfaction are rising. Blending journalism, philosophy and law scholarship, this paper argues that ‘news choice overload’ causes paralysis and poor outcomes as it transfers power to algorithms, thereby harming autonomy and, in turn, democracy.

During the administration of President Alberto Fernández (2019–2023), Argentina condemned the invasion at the United Nations but maintained a relatively low diplomatic profile and criticised Western sanctions against Russia.
