Clarias lamottei (Siluriformes, Clariidae), a natural intergeneric hybrid from West Africa

2003
A biometric study of four Clarias and two Heterobranchus species and including the type material of C. lamottei, only known by its types, showed that the latter is most probably a natural hybrid between C. gariepinus and H. isopterus. Zoogeographical evidence is given to support this.

Elektrosensorische Beutedetektion beim Afrikanischen Scharfzahnwels Clarias gariepinus (Burchell, 1822; Clariidae, Siluriformes, Teleostei)

1997
