Class E frequency multiplier driving Class E amplifier
Proceedings of Power and Energy Systems in Converging Markets, 2002In this paper, we propose the Class E frequency multiplier driving Class E amplifier. This circuit is composed of two series connected Class E amplifiers. One of these Class E amplifiers works like a driver circuit. The proposed circuit can reduce the total power dissipation of the driving stage and can work with higher efficiency.

Class-E and inverse class-E switch-mode power amplifiers
Journal of Communications Technology and Electronics, 2012Circuits of class-E and inverse class-E (Einv) switch-mode power amplifiers (PAs) are systemized on the basis of the principle of duality. New PA circuits (four class-Einv PA circuits and one class-E PA circuit) are proposed. The design relationships for values of reactive LC components of PA shaping circuits are given.

Injection-locked class-E oscillator

Resonant DC/DC converter with class-E inverter and class-E rectifier
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 1989A new type of high-frequency high-efficiency resonant DC/DC converter is proposed, analyzed, and verified experimentally. It is called a class-E converter because it consists of a class-E inverter and a class-E rectifier. The class-E rectifier acts as an impedance inverter and is compatible with the class-E inverter.

Power oscillator design: class E

By employing large-signal S-parameters, theoretical conditions for optimum operation of the oscillator have been formulated and discussed. Loss due to non-zero switching time, saturation resistance etc. of the transistor employed is accounted for.
