Abstract 22: MM-161, a first-in-class pan-FGFR antibody

Cancer Research, 2017
Abstract Aberrant signaling of the FGFR pathway has long been known to promote tumorigenesis and angiogenesis across multiple cancer indications. However, the development of an effective and well-tolerated FGFR targeted inhibitor has been hindered by the need to block the activation of multiple mitogenic receptors while avoiding ...

Prediction of Class A Pan Evaporation in Southwest Idaho

Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, 1989
Class A pan evaporation from three sites on the Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed in southwest Idaho showed that a single equation that incorporated solar radiation and mean temperature could be used to estimate daily pan evaporation. The estimates could be improved by adding a daily wind run term to the basic equation.

Estimating U.S. Class A Pan Evaporation from Few Climate Data

Water International, 1994
ABSTRACT In view of the shortage of good measurements of lake evaporation for testing a new estimation formula, a modification of the formula has been devised that can be compared with U.S. Class A pan measurements. which are available widely. Both formulae, for lake and pan evaporation respectively, are based on Penman's evaporation equation and are ...

CFD SIMULATION OF WATER EVAPORATION IN CLASS-A PAN WITH A TRANSIENT ANALYSIS

Acta Horticulturae, 2013
A CFD-based methodology is proposed to derive convective mass-transfer coefficients (wind functions) which are required for estimating evaporation of water bodies with the mass-transfer method. The CFD-derived wind functions were very similar to those empirically derived from a Class-A pan evaporimeter.

Class A pan evaporation as affected by shelter, and a daily prediction equation

Agricultural Meteorology, 1977
Abstract A study of Class A pan evaporation data at two locations on the Northern Great Plains indicated that evaporation from pans protected from the wind by tree shelterbelts was about 14% less than that from unprotected pans. An equation was developed for estimating daily Class A pan evaporation from either protected or unprotected pans.

A wind tunnel experiment on the evaporation rate of Class A evaporation pan

Journal of Hydrology, 2010
Summary The influences of wind speed and water depth on the evaporation rates of Class A evaporimeter pan were investigated in a series of wind tunnel experiments. Based on the measured pan evaporation rates, the aerodynamic resistance for the evaporimeter pan was calculated and integrated with a Penman–Monteith type model for pan evaporation rate ...

Determination of plant-pan coefficients for field-grown eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) using class A pan evaporation values

Agricultural Water Management, 2006
Abstract This study was conducted to determine the most suitable plant-pan coefficient for eggplant, using pan evaporation values, in field conditions. Application of irrigation water was based on cumulative class A pan evaporation within the irrigation intervals. Irrigation treatments consisted of one irrigation interval ( I 1: 7 day) and five plant-

Estimating Class A pan evaporation at locations with sparse climatic data

South African Journal of Plant and Soil, 1987
Class A pan evaporation was found to correlate closely with daylength-adjusted maximum daily air temperature (ATM), on a bimonthly basis. ATM and altitude were used as variables in a regression analysis to develop a series of evaporation-estimation equations for various regions in southern Africa.

An automatic recording Class A pan evapo-pluviometer for long-term unattended operation

Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, 1987
Abstract A system for automatic measurement of evaporation loss from, and rainfall into, a standard Class A evaporation pan is reported. Water level in the pan is maintained within 0.5 mm of the normal filled level. Evaporation loss is replenished from a supply reservoir, and excess water from rainfall is removed through an outlet valve.

Evaluation of Class A Pan Coefficients for Estimating Reference Evapotranspiration in Humid Location

Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, 2002
Evaporation pans Class A pan, U.S. Weather Bureau (USWB) are used extensively throughout the world to measure free-water evaporation and to estimate reference evapotranspiration (ET0).
