Current mode AB class WTA circuit

ICECS 2001. 8th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01EX483), 2002
In this paper novel AB class current mode WTA circuits that set foundations for low power programmable VLSI neural networks and other applications are proposed. The 8-WTA circuit has been simulated, fabricated and measured. Results are presented and discussed.

CMOS class-AB voltage-mode multiplier

IEEE International Symposium on Communications and Information Technology, 2005. ISCIT 2005., 2006
A novel circuit configuration for a CMOS voltage-mode four-quadrant analog multiplier is described. It is based on square law characteristic of MOS transistor and class-AB amplifier. The multiplier achieves a linearity of 1.1%, -3 dB bandwidth of 35 MHz, and a total harmonic distortion of 0.76%. The power consumption is 1.5 mW.

Class AB gyrator-based active inductor

2015 Integrated Nonlinear Microwave and Millimetre-wave Circuits Workshop (INMMiC), 2015
In this paper a new approach for the design of class AB active inductors is proposed. Several active solutions have been presented in the literature for replacing spiral inductors with active solutions, but class AB operation is something neglected in the literature.

Optoelectronic Class AB Microwave Power Amplifier

Conference Record of the 2006 Twenty-Seventh International Power Modulator Symposium, 2006
Recent power amplifiers for transmit/receive (TR) modules have been configured in the Class AB or push-pull mode with a theoretical efficiency of 78.5% and an operational efficiency of only 20% at X-band (8-12.5 GHz) frequencies. In this paper, we present results of a simulation study of a new scheme of power amplifier, in particular, an optoelectronic

Class AB Switched-Current Techniques

1993
In this chapter, a class AB switched-current technique was proposed to enable switched-current filters with considerably reduced quiescent power consumption to be built. A family of filter building blocks derived from the basic cell was then developed and the principle performance limitations of the technique briefly discussed.

Class AB VHF CMOS active inductor

The 2002 45th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002. MWSCAS-2002., 2003
A class AB VHF CMOS active inductor with increased signal handling capability is described. Comparing to a class A circuit with the same inductance value, Q factor, and power dissipation, the proposed circuit achieves about 12-dB improvement in dynamic range while maintaining high-frequency operation.

Power-efficient super class AB OTAs

Proceedings of the 30th European Solid-State Circuits Conference, 2004
A family of low-voltage power-efficient class AB CMOS operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) is described. It is based on the combination of adaptive biasing techniques and resistive local common-mode feedback (LCMFB), which provides increased dynamic current boosting and gain-bandwidth product (GBW).

Class-AB/F Doherty Power Amplifiers

2008 38th European Microwave Conference, 2008
The class-AB/F Doherty power amplifier (PA) adopts the concept of the class-AB/F PA to enhance efficiency while satisfying linearity. The third harmonic control circuits of the PA improve the efficiency without deteriorating the linearity, and the Doherty PA improves the linearity further by IM3 cancelation.

New bulk-driven class AB CCII

Proceedings of 21st International Conference Radioelektronika 2011, 2011
Bulk-driven technique has been verified to be a promising candidate in the area of low-voltage low-power techniques. In this paper, class AB current conveyor utilizing bulk-driven technique has been proposed. The proposed circuit was implemented based on CMOS technology to put a step forward in the field of low-voltage low-power applications; the non ...

Fully Differential Class-AB OTA with Improved CMRR

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2017
This paper presents a fully differential class-AB current mirror OTA that improves the common-mode behavior of a topology that presents very good differential-mode performance but poor common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). The proposed solution requires a low-current auxiliary circuit driven by the input signal, to compensate the effect of the common ...
