Wide-Swing Class AB Regulated Cascode Current Mirror [PDF]

open access: yes2020 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2020
A micropower regulated cascode CMOS current mirror is presented, combining floating gate and quasi floating gate MOS transistors to achieve both wide swing and class AB operation, respectively. Measurement results for a 0.5 μm CMOS test chip prototype are included, showing that the current mirror can provide a THD at 100 kHz of -44 dB for a supply ...

Hematopoietic (stem) cells—The elixir of life?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The aging of HSCs (hematopoietic stem cells) and the blood system leads to the decline of other organs. Rejuvenating aged HSCs improves the function of the blood system, slowing the aging of the heart, kidney, brain, and liver, and the occurrence of age‐related diseases.

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in

Monolithic class AB operational mirrored amplifier

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1981
A monolithic class AB operational amplifier with an extra output which supplies the difference between the mirrored supply currents is described. Such an operational mirrored amplifier (OMA) is a universal electronic building block particularly suited to the realisation of controlled current sources. The device, which contains a simulated p-n-p current

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

A low-power low-error single-ended virtually-grounded-drain class AB switched-current memory cell [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2007
A low-power low-error single-ended virtually-grounded-drain class AB switched-current memory cell is presented. The proposed circuit is relatively simple, based on a basic class AB SI memory cell and a levelshiftedgrounded-gate amplifier.
