Mapping class groups of h-cobordant manifolds
We prove that the mapping class group is not an h-cobordism invariant of high-dimensional manifolds by exhibiting h-cobordant manifolds whose mapping class groups have different cardinalities.

Finite $2$-groups of class $2$ with a specific automorphism group [PDF]
In this paper we determine all finite $2$-groups of class $2$ in which every automorphism of order $2$ leaving the Frattini subgroup elementwise fixed is inner.

ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Homological stability of spin mapping class groups and quadratic symplectic groups
We study the homological stability of spin mapping class groups of surfaces and of quadratic symplectic groups using cellular $E_2$ -algebras. We get improvements in their stability results, which for the spin mapping class groups we show to be ...

ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

Inverses of measures on a class of discrete groups
We examine a class of groups G, having a certain growth condition. We given an estimate for the norm of the inverse of an element in ll(G) in terms of the spectral radius and the cardinality of the support.

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

A class of continuous non-associative algebras arising from algebraic groups including $E_8$
We give a construction that takes a simple linear algebraic group G over a field and produces a commutative, unital, and simple non-associative algebra A over that field.
