Lattice‐Distortion‐Driven Reduced Lattice Thermal Conductivity in High‐Entropy Ceramics
Long‐believed potential mechanisms of lattice distortion and mass fluctuation for the reduced lattice thermal conductivity are explored by designing two groups of high‐entropy diborides based on machine‐learning‐potential‐based molecular dynamics simulations.

Politics of evidence: Think tanks and the Academies Act
Abstract Previous research has identified political ideology as central in the landmark Academies Act (2010). This article further analyses how politics of evidence played its part in the policy process by focusing on long‐term structural changes and preferences among policymakers. The article draws on policymaker interviews after the reform, a mapping

Thermally Cured Sulfonated para‐PBI as Ion Solvating Membrane for Use in Water Electrolysis
The cMS‐PBI membrane is designed to be free of the known breaking points which limit the lifetime of membranes in alkaline electrolysis systems. As supported by high conductivity and 6 months ex situ stability test, the cMS‐PBI ion solvating membrane can substitute anion exchange membranes and thus can reduce the cost of green hydrogen by increasing ...

Linguistic Paradoxes and Tautologies [PDF]
Classes of linguistic paradoxes and linguistic tautologies are introduced with examples and explanations. They are part of the author's work on the Paradoxist Philosophy based on mathematical logic. The general cases exposed below are modeled on the English language structure in a rigid way. In order to find nice particular examples of such paradoxes

Higher Todd classes and holomorphic group actions [PDF]
This paper attempts to provide an analogue of the Novikov conjecture for algebraic (or K\"{a}hler) manifolds. Inter alia, we prove a conjecture of Rosenberg's on the birational invariance of higher Todd genera. We argue that in the algebraic geometric setting the Novikov philosophy naturally includes non-birational mappings.
