Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Coordination Capacity for Classical-Quantum Correlations
Network coordination is considered in three basic settings, characterizing the generation of separable and classical-quantum correlations among multiple parties. First, we consider the simulation of a classical-quantum state between two nodes with rate-limited common randomness (CR) and communication.

Coding theorems for hybrid channels. II [PDF]
The present work continues investigation of the capacities of measurement (quantum-classical) channels in the most general setting, initiated in~\cite{HCT}.

Exploiting entanglement in communication channels with correlated noise
We develop a model for a noisy communication channel in which the noise affecting consecutive transmissions is correlated. This model is motivated by fluctuating birefringence of fiber optic links.

Quantum channels showing superadditivity in classical capacity [PDF]
We consider a channel coding for sending classical information through a quantum channel with a given ensemble of quantum states (letter states). As is well known, it is generically possible in a quantum channel that the transmittable information in block coding of length $n$ can exceed $n$ times the maximum amount that can be sent without any coding ...

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Relations for classical communication capacity and entanglement capability of two-qubit operations
Bipartite operations underpin both classical communication and entanglement generation. Using a superposition of classical messages, we show that the capacity of a two-qubit operation for error-free entanglement-assisted bidirectional classical ...

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

A generalized Verhulst model subject to seasonal change in both fertility rate and carrying capacity is outlined. Numerical solutions to the Verhulst equations are employed to obtain optimal fertility rate phase shift with respect to carrying capacity ...
