Microwave single-tone optomechanics in the classical regime
We report on the quantitative experimental illustration of elementary optomechanics within the classical regime. All measurements are performed in a commercial dilution refrigerator on a mesoscopic drumhead aluminium resonator strongly coupled to a ...

Large Rabi Splitting Driven by Plasmon‐Enhanced Hybrid Anapole States in Si–Au–WSe2 Heterostructures
A silicon hybrid‐anapole microcavity coupled with a plasmonic array enables tripartite strong coupling with WSe2 excitons. Spatially extended field enhancement and coherent cavity–plasmon hybridization strengthen light–matter interactions, producing a giant 330 meV Rabi splitting at room temperature and offering a compact platform for low‐exciton ...

STEM‐EELS and full‐wave FDTD reveal electron‐driven surface‐polariton modes at buried Au/oxide/Si interfaces with 10 nm SiO2 or Al2O3 spacers. Extinction is dominated by non‐radiative absorption, while oxide permittivity shifts the resonance and controls evanescent‐field penetration across the spacer into silicon.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Unraveling the Thermal Response From Individual Multipole Resonances in Magnetodielectric Spheres
A semi‐analytical framework resolves electromagnetic heating into individual multipolar contributions and an inter‐order coupling correction, linking internal modal fields to local dissipation, temperature evolution, and heat flux. Applied to dual‐symmetric magnetodielectric spheres, it reveals balanced polarization and magnetization losses and ...
