Engineering a Correlated Narrow‐Gap Semiconductor: Effects of Ga Substitution in EuZn2P2
ABSTRACT The effect of Ga substitution on the electronic, magnetic, and low‐energy responses of the Zintl phase EuZn2P2${\rm EuZn}_2 {\rm P}_2$ is investigated by electrical transport, electron spin resonance (ESR), and terahertz time‐domain spectroscopy (THz‐TDS). Incorporating Ga into EuZn2P2${\rm EuZn}_2 {\rm P}_2$ (EuZn1.8Ga0.2P2${\rm EuZn}_{1.8} {\

Few‐Photon Fluorescence From Ultracold Bosons in an Optical Cavity
ABSTRACT Within a cavity quantum electrodynamics framework, we analyse the fluorescent spectrum of ultracold bosons in resonant and second‐harmonic generation (SHG) regimes. Two settings are considered: (i) (few) bosons in an optical lattice and (ii) a trapped two‐component dilute Bose–Einstein condensate (2BEC) within the Bogoliubov scheme.

Reduced compression time is not sufficient for stability in patellar buttons
Abstract Purpose Patellar resurfacing in total knee arthroplasty requires stable cement fixation of the patellar button. Unlike femoral and tibial components, the patellar button is held under manual compression until cement curing, potentially prolonging operative time.

Controlling Collective Quasiparticle Dynamics Beyond Decoherence in Topological Interfaces
Gold nanoparticles placed above a deformed honeycomb plasmonic crystal couple to a chiral topological interface mode. The pseudospin‐split bands ψ+/ ψ− encode spin‐momentum locking, so emitters radiate directionally along the domain wall and share a common phase.

Special solutions of coupled classical harmonic oscillators with the addition of magnetic monopoles
In this paper, we undertake a thorough investigation into the existence of magnetic monopoles, elusive particles theorized to possess isolated north or south magnetic poles. These hypothetical entities have long captured the imagination of physicists and

Electromagnetism as an emergent phenomenon: a step-by-step guide
We give a detailed description of electrodynamics as an emergent theory from condensed-matter-like structures, not only per se but also as a warm-up for the study of the much more complex case of gravity.

A phase‐change magneto‐optical metagrating combines GST switching with InAs guided‐mode resonances to achieve strong nonreciprocal absorption contrast near normal incidence. A static magnetic bias creates direction‐dependent resonant splitting, while GST crystallization quenches and latches the response.

Effective potential of scalar Lee-Wick pseudo-electrodynamics
The study of effective potential for the scalar Lee-Wick pseudo-electrodynamics in one-loop is presented in this letter. The planar and non-local Lee-Wick pseudo-electrodynamics is so coupled to a complex scalar field sector in 1+2 dimensions, where we ...
