Citazione come salvezza. Echi classici nella poesia di Choman Hardi [PDF]
Characters from Greek mythology and echoes from Latin literature permeate English-language verse by Kurdish poet Choman Hardi, who compares the widows of her country to Homer’s Penelope and reworks Catullian motifs to give voice to a people without a ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Postprocessing for quantum random number generators: entropy evaluation and randomness extraction
Quantum random-number generators (QRNGs) can offer a means to generate information-theoretically provable random numbers, in principle. In practice, unfortunately, the quantum randomness is inevitably mixed with classical randomness due to classical ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Nonlinear aerodynamic global model indentification using Gram-Schmidt orthogonalisation13; [PDF]
This paper discusses a simple technique to identify global models for nonlinear aerodynamic force and moment coefficients of aircraft using multivariate orthogonal functions. Classical Gram-Schmidt procedure and Predicted Squared Error metric are used to

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
