Beyond Privacy Calculus: Understanding Digital Contact Tracing Acceptance Through Surveillance Drift and Agency Theory

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, Volume 43, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Digital contact tracing (DCT) has emerged as a promising tool for controlling infectious disease outbreaks, yet its adoption has been hampered by widespread privacy concerns. Prior research studies mainly rely on privacy calculus theory. We extend this view by integrating agency theory to explain how delegating sensitive data to government ...

Velocity Spectrum Imaging Using Velocity Encoding Preparation Pulses

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 5, Page 2568-2579, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose The goal of this article is to introduce a technique to measure the velocity distribution of water inside each voxel of an MR image. The method is based on the use of motion sensitizing gradients with changing first moment to encode velocity. As such, it is completely non‐invasive and requires no contrast injections.

Proximal ureteral fibroepithelial polyp with secondary renal atrophy in a dog (Canis lupus familiaris)

open access: yesVeterinary Record Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, May 2026.
Abstract A 12‐year‐old, male intact, Papillon dog was presented following trauma from a motor vehicle accident. On arrival, the dog was laterally recumbent with neurological dysfunction (modified Glasgow coma scale 12) and multiple injuries, including right hip luxation and suspected haemorrhage.

A Single Bout of Aerobic Exercise Increases Neuronal Extracellular Vesicle‐Derived Insulin Signaling Biomarkers in Adults With Cardiometabolic Risk

open access: yesComprehensive Physiology, Volume 16, Issue 2, April 2026.
A single bout of aerobic exercise performed the night before increased some insulin signaling proteins classically involved in glucose metabolism as well as those implicated in neuronal cell growth and proliferation. We specifically observed that exercise may modulate some of these nEV‐derived biomarkers during the fasting and/or post‐glucose ingestion
