YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Quantum–classical correspondence in spin–boson equilibrium states at arbitrary coupling
The equilibrium properties of nanoscale systems can deviate significantly from standard thermodynamics due to their coupling to an environment. We investigate this here for the θ -angled spin–boson model, where we first derive a compact and general form ...

A classic diagnosis with a new 'spin'.
We describe a case of pericardial constriction following viral pericarditis and illustrate the use of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnostic process. The advantages of cardiac magnetic resonance in the investigation of pericardial disease are briefly explained.

Covariance Realization Problem for Spin Systems [PDF]
Let (Ω, Α) be a measurable space, F be a family of measurable functions f from Ω to R, and c: F→R be a given function. A generalized moment problem consists of finding all probabilities P on (Ω, Α) such that ∫ f dP = c(f) = cf for all f є F, and in ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

Kerr-Newman stress-tensor from minimal coupling
In this paper, we demonstrate that at leading order in post Minkowskian (PM) expansion, the stress-energy tensor of Kerr-Newman black hole can be recovered to all orders in spin from three sets of minimal coupling: the electric and gravitational minimal ...

Quantum circuits to measure scalar spin chirality
The scalar spin chirality is a three-body physical observable that plays an outstanding role both in classical magnetism, characterizing non-co-planar spin textures, and in quantum magnetism, as an order parameter for chiral spin liquids.

DYNAMICS OF THE CLASSICAL PLANAR SPIN CHAIN [PDF]
The Monte Carlo method has been used to calculate the moments of the relaxation function for the classical planar spin chain. In this way extended results for the dynamic properties of this system are obtained. Comparison is made with experiment and other theories.

Classical and quantum spin pumps [PDF]
Se estudia la posibilidad de obtener transporte dirigido a nivel cuántico y clásico en un sistema dispersivo con un grado de libertad interno. El modelo consiste de una partícula con dipolo magnético en presencia de un campo magnético no homogéneo. Para

Fractionalized Z(2) Classical Heisenberg Spin Liquids [PDF]
Quantum spin systems are by now known to exhibit a large number of different classes of spin liquid phases. By contrast, for classical Heisenberg models, only one kind of fractionalized spin liquid phase, the so-called Coulomb or U(1) spin liquid, has ...
